• Every Sunday Americans trash rather than recycle about 90% of their recyclable newspapers. This wastes about 500,000 trees.
• If everyone in the U.S. recycled just 10% of their newsprint, we would save the equivalent of about 25 million trees a year.
• One tree can filter up to 60 pounds of pollutants from the air a year.
• One ton of recycled paper saves 17 trees, almost 7,000 gallons of water, and over 3 cubic yards of landfill space.
• The average American uses 650 lbs of paper each year.
• If all that paper was recycled – 100 million tons of wood could be saved!

Food Challenge

Here's a challenge; using up, eating up, and finding ways to not waste all the frozen, canned and packaged food we have with out having to pack it up and take it with us. My challenge: make meals that use as many of the above refrigerated or pantry items as possible!

Moving

Just wanted to remind everyone, if you don't have to move, don't. This is very stressful. But it's worth it.

We are up and running

This will be the newest site for all Rawson Family info. Since the big move is coming up, we thought we'd document all that is going on, just to keep everyone up to date.

Right now, all we are doing is cleaning house. Going through all that we've accumulated in the last four years, and looking at what we actually need for the new house.

The kids are just being kids. Playing, fighting, laughing, crying. All the good stuff.

We'll have another update soon.
